Cobalt Expands Family Day Boat Line

Cobalt Boats has announced the introduction of the all-new R4 Outboard, a family-sized sport runabout featuring a length of 24’3 “and a width of 8’6”, and accommodating up to 13 passengers with a certified capacity of up to 2100 Kg. The R4 outboard motor can be fitted with Yamaha or Mercury engines, up to 350 HP.

Standard features include a 6-speaker audio system with AM / FM stereo, Bluetooth and an iPod / USB / MP3 port; a Garmin double glass cockpit; gloss black switch panels with illuminated switches; USB power accessories and plugs; a depth and water temperature package; removable carpet at the rear, cockpit and bow; an archway door; and amenities such as a rear sun lounger with folding backrest, a passenger seat with folding backrest and a Delmar captain’s seat.

Standard exterior features include a mooring locker, stainless steel bow skid plate, ski mast and swim platform with fold-out swim step.

“The innovative R4OB enhances the outboard experience through Cobalt’s signature combination of performance, comfort, reliability and luxury amenities,” said Jason Turner, Cobalt vice president of operations and engineering. , in a company press release. “And with its hard-shell construction and optimized hull for outboard motors, it silently delivers the smooth ride of cobalt,” he added.
